The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tucker throws a hook to the side of Kuchar's head but Kuchar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tucker misses with a hook. Kuchar ducked under it nicely.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Tucker.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kuchar.
Kuchar jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kuchar throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Tucker's head.

It looks like JJ Tucker has been cut.
Kuchar has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA LA Elite in the buildup to the fight.
Kuchar connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Tucker lands with a nice body punch.
Tucker throws a shot from downtown. Kuchar moves away and avoids it.
Tucker sizes up Kuchar with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Tucker throws a combination that misses
and Kuchar counters with a lovely straight right hand!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tucker tries to clinch there but Kuchar circles away.
Tucker looks to land a combination but Kuchar avoids it well.
Tucker swings for the body but Kuchar moves out of range.
Tucker takes one to the side of the head.
Tucker throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tucker misses with a low kick.
Kuchar bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Tucker is still on wobbly legs! Can Kuchar finish him?
Kuchar throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tucker sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kuchar drops Tucker with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Tucker! Kuchar dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
