Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Casey Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Quincy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bowman's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dropkick Murphys - Warriors Code. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Casey Bowman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Igor Quincy!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quincy fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bowman is out of range.
Quincy misses with a straight right.
Bowman slips a straight right by Quincy.

Bowman lands a big head kick that sends Quincy tumbling to the mat! Bowman takes a step backwards and waves Quincy back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Quincy is rocked!


It looks like Igor Quincy has been cut.
Bowman swings for the body but Quincy moves out of range.
Casey Bowman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bowman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bowman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Quincy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bowman gets the takedown into side control.

Bowman looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Quincy managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Bowman.
Quincy can't do much from the bottom here.
Bowman is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Quincy will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Quincy sneaks back into half guard.
Still in half guard, Bowman seems content to control.
Nice strikes from Bowman there.

Bowman is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Quincy has managed to free his arm - good work.
Bowman is thwarting Quincy's attempts to control the position.
Quincy blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bowman.
Quincy looks like he's trying to stand up.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Quincy is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Bowman has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Bowman stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Quincy lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.


It looks like Casey Bowman has been cut.
Bowman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Quincy throws a nice inside leg kick.
Bowman blocks a leg kick.
Bowman lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Quincy backs up against the cage.
Quincy goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Bowman tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Quincy on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bowman.
Quincy misses with a hook. Bowman ducked under it nicely.
Jab, jab by Bowman - just one landing.
Igor Quincy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Quincy on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Bowman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Quincy.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bowman lands a leg kick that knocks Quincy off balance momentarily.
Bowman throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Bowman walks into a jab.
Quincy throws an off balance right hand
and Bowman counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bowman misses the body punch
and Bowman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The fighters circling - Quincy throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bowman pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Bowman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bowman showed some decent athleticism there.
Bowman content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Bowman is keen to just control but Quincy is a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bowman throwing shots but Quincy is blocking nicely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bowman seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Bowman not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Quincy looks like he's trying to stand up.

Bowman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Quincy defends it well.
Bowman looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Bowman stands up and beckons Quincy to join him on the feet.

Bowman moves into range and clinches up with Quincy.

Bowman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Casey Bowman dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bowman.
Quincy loads up on a big right hand but Bowman slips the punch.
A jab from Quincy misses.
Bowman seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Bowman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nice defenses there by Bowman.
Bowman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bowman throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Quincy's head.
Quincy lands a leg kick that knocks Bowman off balance momentarily.
Bowman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Quincy.

Bowman is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Quincy throws a shot from downtown. Bowman moves away and avoids it.
Oh Bowman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Casey Bowman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bowman tries to land a front kick but Quincy steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Quincy scores with a body shot.
Bowman seems to have got his legs back now.
Quincy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Quincy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bowman connects with a high kick.
Good standup being displayed there by Bowman as he connects with a hook.
Quincy is still on wobbly legs! Can Bowman finish him?


That has opened up Igor Quincy's cut even more.
Quincy scores with a hook.
Quincy slips a jab and a cross from Bowman.
Quincy doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Quincy seems to have recovered his senses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Quincy looks to throw the jab but Bowman is out of range.
Bowman swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Quincy counters with a huge left! Bowman is in big trouble! He's backing up but Quincy isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Bowman from any more damage. A dominating finish by Quincy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Igor Quincy!
Igor Quincy decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
In defeat, Casey Bowman stepped up to the mic, saying 'I want to thank my team, my sponsor and of course my opponent for this fight. Today he was the better fighter...'.
