Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Apple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and An Fredo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as An Fredo enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Apple! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, An Fredo! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Apple takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Fredo cracks Apple with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Fredo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Apple's head. Fredo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Apple momentarily.
Apple slips under a jab. Apple looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Fredo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Apple changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Fredo gets a takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Apple trying to control here.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fredo in particular looking to stall. It looks like Fredo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Apple is trying to stand back up but Fredo is controlling him

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fredo is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Fredo gets the takedown into side control. Fredo staying calm. Apple is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Fredo asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fredo slows the pace down. Apple tries to improve position but can't. Fredo controls the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fredo thuds his right hand into Apple's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Fredo looks to throw the jab but Apple is out of range. A little feinted left hand from Apple on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Apple uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fredo.
Apple was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Fredo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Apple tries to avoid it but Fredo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Apple to the ground. Apple escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Apple has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Apple there as he acknowledges the shot. Fredo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fredo prevents Apple from standing back up.
Apple manages to escape and get back to his feet! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fredo cracks Apple with a good jab. Apple moves out of range as Fredo strikes. A swing and a miss from Fredo. Fredo tries for a takedown but Apple circles away easily and Apple counters with a left and a right that stings Fredo. Fredo misses with a looping right. Apple throwing a counter right hand but Fredo manages to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fredo digs a good body shot into Apple's ribs. Apple walks into a stiff left hand from Fredo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Apple slips a jab from Fredo. Apple bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Fredo lands a slapping body shot.
Fredo misses with a straight right. Apple appears to be looking for a big counter. A telegraphed right hand from Fredo misses the target. Fredo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Apple has time to react. Apple ducks under a wild hook from Fredo. A quick step to the side and Apple tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fredo has Apple up against the cage in a clinch.

Fredo is pushing Apple up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Fredo misses with some punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Fredo takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Apple tries for a takedown but Fredo manages to get underhooks.

A shot in the inside from Fredo. Fredo turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Fredo sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Apple is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Fredo is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Fredo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Apple defends well and Fredo ends up having to push Apple into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Apple drops down looking for a counter takedown but Fredo sprawls and moves away. Apple steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fredo. Apple swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Fredo feints and as Apple raises his hands in defense, Fredo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Apple is looking to stand up but Fredo isn't so interested in that idea. Fredo is stalling in the full guard. Fredo trying to control the position from guard on top but Apple is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

An Fredo seems to be getting the better of the standup. Fredo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Fredo tries to clinch but Apple moves out of range. Apple was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Fredo fails miserably with a takedown attempt. It looked like Apple wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Mark Apple has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fredo has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Nice jab there from Fredo. Fredo swings for the body but Apple moves out of range.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fredo throws a lazy right hand but Apple sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Apple throws a big counter combination but Fredo scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Fredo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Apple counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Fredo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Fredo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Apple swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A jab from Fredo misses. Apple tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Fredo manages to circle out of the way. Fredo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fredo throws a looping overhand right but Apple ducks down to avoid it. It looked like Apple wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Fredo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Apple sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Mark Apple has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of An Fredo. Fredo throws an off balance right hand
and Apple counters with a three punch combo that has Fredo backing up. Fredo nods at Apple to acknowledge the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Apple uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fredo. Fredo throws a hook but Apple avoids it easily. Apple on the wrong end of a nice jab. Fredo throws a right hand that misses
and Apple counters with a nice uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fredo throws a poor cross that misses
and Apple counters with a three punch combo that has Fredo backing up. Fredo nods at Apple to acknowledge the strikes.
Fredo is rocked! Fredo misses with a left hand and Apple counters with a big right hand! Oh Fredo is in trouble here! Apple follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
