Brown has chosen Yer Killin' Me- Remo Drive as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Steven Kopp has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven Kopp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nino Brown!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown stuffs the takedown attempt from Kopp. Kopp gets slowly back to his feet.
Kopp tries a low kick but Brown avoids it.
Brown connects with a body shot.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kopp.

Brown rushes Kopp and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kopp is trying to break the clinch but Brown has him pressed against the cage.
Kopp tries to work over Brown's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Brown is looking for a takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kopp tries for a takedown but Brown manages to get underhooks.
Kopp is pressed up against the cage. Brown has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kopp down to the mat. Kopp avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Kopp shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Brown wants to stand back up but Kopp manages to pass into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kopp wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brown keeps working.
Brown is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Brown tries to improve position but can't.
Kopp working the head and body with strikes.
Brown is looking for a sweep.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kopp postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Kopp grinds an elbow into Brown's temple.
Kopp working the ground and pound but Brown is defending the strikes.
Kopp lands an elbow.
Kopp working the head and body with strikes.


Brown is rocked!

Brown is still in real trouble! Can Kopp finish him?

Kopp cracks Brown with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Kopp immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Brown is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Kopp!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steven Kopp!
