Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bastian De Koning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alistair Overoid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overoid has chosen Sensation Anthem 2004 as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Koning shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Overoid as he avoids it easily.
Overoid lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Bastian De Koning has been cut.
Overoid shoots in and drives through. De Koning sprawls well.
Overoid is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Overoid tries to close the distance and clinch up but De Koning swats him away and circles back towards the center.

De Koning has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from De Koning there as he acknowledges the shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Overoid has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

De Koning closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Alistair Overoid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Overoid lands a nice hook to De Koning's body. De Koning takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Overoid sends De Koning crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Overoid is motioning to the referee to let De Koning up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Overoid is looking to clinch.
Overoid will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
De Koning appears to be looking for a big counter.
Overoid is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by De Koning.
De Koning shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Overoid counters with a right hand to the body.
De Koning is breathing heavily.

Overoid throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! De Koning crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
