The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
E misses with an attempted mid kick.
Bird looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Bird misses with a takedown attempt - E sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
E looks for the body kick but Bird saw that one coming.
E pushes Bird away with a front kick.
Good shot there by E.
E pushes Bird up against the cage in a clinch.
E landing knees to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

E with a knee to the head.
Bird tries to land knees in the clinch but E avoids the damage to the body.
E has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Bird - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from E, and another! Bird is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
