Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Grant Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Owen Bouchard! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bouchard misses with an uppercut. Scott saw that one coming. Scott uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bouchard. Owen Bouchard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bouchard throws the left hand but Scott avoids the punch easily. Scott gets a takedown into half guard. Bouchard is looking for a sweep. Scott is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Scott will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Nice strikes from Scott there. Scott thows a huge punch but Bouchard dodges it nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Scott lands strikes from half guard. Scott not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bouchard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Scott. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Scott is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Scott has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Scott sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bouchard defending well though. Scott throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Scott lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Scott thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bouchard's head. Scott thows a huge punch but Bouchard dodges it nicely.

Bouchard tries to kick Scott off but Scott keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Scott thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Scott connects with a nice short shot to Bouchard's temple. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bouchard can do anything to dispel that myth. Scott missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Scott sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bouchard defending well though. Scott thows a huge punch but Bouchard dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bouchard avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Scott. Scott looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Scott throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Scott not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Scott lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Scott is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Scott is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Scott missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott is nestled in close to Bouchard, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Bouchard taking some punishment here, with Scott in his half guard. Scott wants to control but Bouchard is keeping him busy. Scott really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bouchard tries to get to full guard but Scott has control of the leg. Scott throwing shots but Bouchard is blocking nicely. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Scott missing with the ground and pound from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Grant Scott dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bouchard throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bouchard throws a lazy right hand but Scott sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Scott fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Bouchard throws out a loose jab but Scott uses good head movement to avoid it. Bouchard is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Bouchard scores with a nice right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bouchard ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Scott moves away. Bouchard looks to land a right hand but Scott moved out of range. Scott ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big left from Bouchard misses. Bouchard moves out of range as Scott strikes. Bouchard throws a lazy uppercut
and Scott counters with a one-two to the body. Bouchard lands with a shot to the body. Scott gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Grant Scott has been cut. Bouchard throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bouchard swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Scott thinks about countering with a head kick. Scott defending well as Bouchard loads up on a big left hand. Bouchard might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bouchard jabs Scott to the body, keeping him at a distance. Scott bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Scott finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Bouchard doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Grant Scott is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bouchard lands with an uppercut that bounces Scott off the cage and back into range. Bouchard cracks a nice hook into Scott's ribs. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Scott moves out of range as Bouchard strikes. A telegraphed right hand from Bouchard misses the target. Bouchard throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott slips under a jab from Bouchard. Scott throws a big counter combination but Bouchard scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Scott fails with an attempt to clinch.
Scott slips under a jab. Bouchard lands a nice hook to Scott's body. Scott takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. The crowd cheers as Bouchard lands an impressive looking overhand right. Scott doesn't seem phased though. Bouchard lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Scott is rocked! Owen Bouchard is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bouchard throws an uppercut from hell that sends Scott clean off his feet! He's out cold! Bouchard stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
