PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Le Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fatu Tua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tua has chosen Freak on a Leash by Korn as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jerome Le Banner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 46 - 32 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fatu Tua!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tua throws a hook to the side of Banner's head but Banner sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Tua doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Banner shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tua pinned against the cage. Tua gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Tua takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Fatu Tua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well Banner has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
