PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pit Mies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pereira Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mies comes to the cage accompanied by Condemned 84 - Face the agression. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 32 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pit Mies!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pereira Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz fails in his attempt to clinch.
Diaz looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Mies works over Diaz's head and body with a nice combination.
Mies could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Mies goes for a double leg but Diaz avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Diaz continues to drive forward.

Mies shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Diaz blocking the ground and pound attempt from Mies.
Diaz is refusing to be controlled, as Mies sits in half guard.

Mies is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Diaz is just riding it out for now. Mies eventually gives up the hold.
Mies landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Mies is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Diaz is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

After the fight, Pit Mies was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
