Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mathew Matterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taavetti Luupaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matterson comes to the ring accompanied by Dead by April - What can I say. Luupaa has chosen Bone Thugs N' Harmony - No Surrender as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matterson moves into range and clinches up with Luupaa.
Matterson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Matterson is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Matterson is leaning against Luupaa and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Luupaa prevents the takedown attempt.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Luupaa wants a takedown but no success here.
A body shot lands from Matterson.
Matterson decides to pull guard.
Matterson wants to stand but Luupaa is controlling the position.
Luupaa passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Matterson bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Matterson tries for a takedown but Luupaa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Luupaa darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Luupaa in particular looking to stall.

Luupaa frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Matterson is looking to improve his position but Luupaa isn't that keen on the idea.

Luupaa keeps control of the position easily here as Matterson tries to buck him off.
Luupaa wants to control but Matterson is keeping busy.

Luupaa really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Matterson.
Despite being in the dominant position, Taavetti Luupaa just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Matterson misses with a few strikes there.
Luupaa looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Matterson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Luupaa is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Luupaa is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Matterson with him. Matterson is trying to defend but Luupaa has an arm under the chin now! Matterson grimaces and is forced to tap out!
