Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frederic Joyner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Liguy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frederic Joyner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oleg Liguy! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Liguy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Joyner to score an easy takedown into full guard. Liguy keeping moving, preventing Joyner from controlling successfully. Joyner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Liguy swivels though and keeps the full guard. Joyner could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Liguy wants to sweep here but Joyner controlling him for the moment. Liguy is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joyner decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Liguy, up you get! Liguy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Joyner tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Liguy is in Joyner's guard. Liguy wants to pass the guard but Joyner is keeping the position. Liguy not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Joyner wants to sweep here but Liguy controlling him for the moment. Liguy's corner is telling him to maintain position. Joyner wants to sweep here but Liguy controlling him for the moment. Liguy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Liguy passes easily into side control. Nice work. Joyner is not content to let Liguy control the position. Liguy taking a breather here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joyner is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Liguy working the head with strikes. Liguy is looking to take a break and control but Joyner is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Liguy is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Joyner's shoulder. That is not cool. Joyner taking punishment in the form of punches.
Liguy has knee on belly and moves into mount. Liguy controlling his opponent. Liguy is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Joyner can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Liguy wants to finish this one by submission but Joyner is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Liguy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Liguy sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Liguy landing strikes from the mount and Joyner is in trouble!
It looks like Frederic Joyner has been cut. Liguy controlling his opponent. Liguy raining down hammerfists from mount. Liguy controlling his opponent. Liguy lands a big elbow - Joyner is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Joyner is forced to tap out!
