Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jules Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demarte Pena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jules Bryant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Demarte Pena! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bryant has closed the distance and engaged Pena in a clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Bryant as Pena tries to tie him up. Bryant has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Pena with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Pena wants to stall.
Bryant has Pena pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Bryant pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Pena tumbling to the mat - Bryant dives into Pena's guard. Pena trying to control the position.
Bryant thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Pena wants to stand up but Bryant is controlling him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bryant is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Pena looking to control but Bryant passes into half guard.
Bryant is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bryant prevents Pena from standing back up.
Bryant trying to control the pace. Pena is looking to control Bryant's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pena avoid being mounted? Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bryant in particular looking to stall. Bryant decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Pena is looking to clinch. Pena is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pena doesn't manage to clinch there - Bryant circles away.
Pena moves into the clinch. Pena lands an elbow inside that Bryant shrugs off.
It looks like Jules Bryant has been cut. Pena's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pena instigates a clinch. Pena keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Bryant's efforts to push away. Pena jumps guard but Bryant turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Bryant drags the fight down to the ground.
Bryant will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pena stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bryant swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bryant has his feet on Pena's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Pena tries to clinch but fails miserably and Bryant counters with a right hand to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bryant dives in and scores a takedown into Pena's guard. Bryant seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Pena looking to control.
Bryant is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Bryant content to stall in guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pena wants to get back to his feet but Bryant is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bryant will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bryant slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Pena tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bryant swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pena tries to clinch up but Bryant circles away and keeps his distance. Pena tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bryant manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pena moves in looking to clinch but Bryant pushes him off. Bryant swats away the attempt to clinch by Pena. Pena is looking to clinch but Bryant is avoiding it.
Bryant fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pena sprawls well initially but Bryant persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Pena trying to hold on to Bryant's head to control him but Bryant postures up.
Pena is trying to stand up here but Bryant is controlling him well. Pena wants to stand back up but Bryant manages to pass into side control.
Pena is trying to control Bryant's posture but Bryant avoids it. Bryant is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pena is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Pena tries to improve position but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jules Bryant dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jules Bryant's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bryant avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A little feinted left hand from Bryant on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Bryant shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bryant was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Pena tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Bryant is riding his opponent, not letting Pena buck him off. Bryant is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bryant controls the position. Bryant gets his hands free as Pena looks to control. What can Pena do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Bryant seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Pena for as long as he can get away with.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pena preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Bryant. Pena rolls, trying to escape but Bryant keeps control of the position.
Bryant is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Pena. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Pena is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Bryant.
Bryant is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pena can do to turn this around? Pena wants to escape the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bryant is persistently looking for the submission but Pena is defending it well.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Pena is really stuck here.
Bryant sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Pena taps out!
