Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wei throws a jab but it's blocked by Mutombo.
Wei fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wei looks for a takedown but Mutombo sprawls well.
Wei shoots in for a takedown but Mutombo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Wei lands a jab to the nose.
Wei connects with a nice looking jab.
Mutombo takes one to the chin there.
Mutombo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wei misses with a hook. Mutombo ducked under it nicely.
Mutombo throws out a counter right but Wei avoids it with no problem.
Wei throws a nice looking combination but Mutombo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Wei connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Mutombo has his feet on Wei's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Wei works over Mutombo's head and body with a nice combination.
Wei walks into a left hand.
Mutombo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Zhengtao Wei has been cut.
Wei wants to land a leg kick but Mutombo is out of range.
Mutombo leaves Wei with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zhengtao Wei. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mutombo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wei moves away.
Wei throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Wei lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mutombo scores with a nice head shot.
Wei throws a right and a left that Mutombo avoids nicely.
Mutombo lands a jab to the nose.
Wei throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wei paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Mutombo walks into a jab.
Mutombo sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
ZaZa Mutombo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wei scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Wei swinging wildly here.

Wei throws a lazy right hand but Mutombo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mutombo looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Mutombo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mutombo lands a nice shot to the body.
Wei swings widly with a right hand
and Mutombo counters with a nice uppercut.
Wei throws out a loose jab but Mutombo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wei thows a leg kick but Mutombo checks it
and Mutombo counters with a crisp right that sends Wei to the canvas! Mutombo follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

As ZaZa Mutombo got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I'm back :-))))'.
