Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Davit Davit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joao Aguilar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aguilar shoots in but no luck this time.
Aguilar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Davit but Davit pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Davit shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Aguilar is trying to defend but Davit finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Aguilar is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Davit scores with a couple of nice shots.
It looks like Joao Aguilar has been cut.
Davit is thwarting Aguilar's attempts to control the position.

That has opened up Joao Aguilar's cut even more.
Davit might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Aguilar tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Davit connects with a couple of short punches.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Davit lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Davit loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Davit loads up on a big left hand. Aguilar felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Davit looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Aguilar can't hide his disappointment, as Davit celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Davit Davit!
Davit Davit spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
