The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Ben Hemmingworth and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Ling. Coltrane does a little dance to reset his feet.
Coltrane shoots in for a takedown but Ling shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ling clinches with his opponent.
A knee to the head by Ling.
It looks like John Coltrane has been cut.
Ling escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ling misses with a lunging right hand
and Coltrane connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Donny Ling has been cut.
Ling throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Ling stuffs the takedown attempt from Coltrane. Coltrane gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Coltrane has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ling should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Coltrane has tightened it up now! Ling should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

John Coltrane decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
