0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Clam Water! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Water lands a two punch combo.
Water lands with a shot to the body. No luck with that takedown attempt from Hudson. Water closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hudson quickly recovers to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hudson is pressing down on Water's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Hudson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Water trying to control the position from guard on top but Hudson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hudson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Water is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hudson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hudson is pulling down on Water's head. It's preventing any offense from Water, at least for the moment. Hudson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Water is defending well. Hudson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Water has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Hudson celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
