The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maichuso darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Jamlouse tries to kick Maichuso off in order to stand up. Maichuso Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maichuso has control of an arm but Jamlouse manages to advance to Maichuso's back!
Maichuso avoids the strikes from Jamlouse.
Maichuso wants to escape the position.
Jamlouse will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Maichuso looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
A lull in the action here.
Jamlouse has the hooks in. Maichuso is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Maichuso rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Jamlouse is posturing up here but Maichuso has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Jamlouse tries to roll out but it's too tight and Jamlouse has to tap! Slick submission there by Maichuso!
