These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Maro Veljanovski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Muhhamad Bin Zayed!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Veljanovski looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Bin Zayed kicks off Veljanovski and gets to his feet.

Bin Zayed changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Veljanovski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Veljanovski tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Veljanovski is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Bin Zayed tries to control but Veljanovski wriggling away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Veljanovski wants to control but Bin Zayed is having none of it.

Bin Zayed looking to secure an arm triangle but Veljanovski defends it well.
Bin Zayed breaks from Veljanovski's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Bin Zayed misses with a head shot.
Veljanovski really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Bin Zayed avoids the attempt from Veljanovski to control.

Bin Zayed wants to finish this one by submission but Veljanovski is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Bin Zayed.
The referee warns Veljanovski that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Veljanovski on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Veljanovski tries to get out of the position.
Veljanovski tries to reverse the position but Bin Zayed maintains control.

Bin Zayed has control of Veljanovski's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Veljanovski regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Veljanovski wants to hold on but Bin Zayed pushes him away.

Veljanovski is looking to get to half guard.
Veljanovski tries to lock up and control but Bin Zayed gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Bin Zayed controlling from the full mount.

Veljanovski tries to improve his position but Bin Zayed has taken his back! Bin Zayed has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Veljanovski tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Bin Zayed pushes Veljanovski away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
