The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volcanic shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Volcanic prevents Iordanov from getting back to his feet.
Volcanic is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Volcanic throws a big right hand that misses.
Volcanic working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Volcanic pushing down on Iordanov's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Iordanov is looking to improve his position.
Volcanic looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Volcanic with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Volcanic throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Volcanic performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Volcanic's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Volcanic lands with a nice body punch.
A solid leg kick lands there for Volcanic.
Whack! Volcanic lands a heavy head kick that drops Iordanov. The ref tackles Volcanic to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Iordanov was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Danny Volcanic!
