Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harlon Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hughes comes into the arena with USA blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samuel Hayes!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayes throws a jab but it's blocked by Hughes.
Hayes connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hughes momentarily.
Hayes connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hayes misses with a lunging right hand
and Hughes counters with a left and a right that stings Hayes.
Hayes moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Hayes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hughes misses with a looping left.
Hayes lands with a hook. Hughes tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

and Hughes counters with a nice uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hayes takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hughes lands a really nice looking cross but Hayes seems unphased.

It looked like Hughes was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

A little jabbing left from Hayes on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Hayes looks to score with a jab to the body but Hughes is just out of range.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hughes.
Hayes scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Hughes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hayes.
Hayes ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Hayes waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hughes.

Hayes slips a straight right by Hughes.
Hughes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hughes swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hayes.
Hayes is rocked!
Hayes walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Hughes swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
