The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jagielka gets a takedown into half guard.
Well, if Jagielka is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Jagielka is pressing down on Jackson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jackson is holding on for now.
Jackson tries to roll over but Jagielka keeps him under control.
Jackson is trying to stand.

Jagielka tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Jackson.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson is looking to improve his position.
Jagielka is stalling here. Jackson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Jagielka seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Jackson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jackson seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jagielka changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Jagielka manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jagielka but Jagielka pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jackson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Jagielka misses with a body kick.
Jagielka shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jackson but Jackson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Jackson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Jagielka shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Jackson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Jackson is pulling down on Jagielka's head. It's preventing any offense from Jagielka, at least for the moment.

That was a close second round but I would say that Quentin Jagielka will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Jackson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jagielka.
Desean Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jackson gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Jackson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jagielka avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Jackson jumps guard but Jagielka stands there with Jackson around his waist. Jackson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jagielka gets underhooks to prevent Jackson's takedown attempt.
Quentin Jagielka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Desean Jackson.

Jagielka has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jackson regains guard immediately.
Jagielka working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Jagielka tries to stand but Jackson is controlling from the bottom.
Jackson wants to sweep but no luck.
Jackson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Jagielka decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jackson, up you get!

Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jagielka swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jackson tries a head kick but it misses.

Jagielka looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jackson is positioning himself well to prevent Jagielka advancing to mount.
Jackson tries to get to full guard but Jagielka has control of the leg.

And that's the end of the fight!
Quentin Jagielka showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jagielka, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
