9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Alan Fadzaev! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Bruno Lombardi and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Day lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Fadzaev misses with a body shot
and Day counters with a nice uppercut. Fadzaev swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Day counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A telegraphed right hand from Fadzaev misses the target. Day misses with a shot to the body and Fadzaev counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Day thinking. Day shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fadzaev but Fadzaev pushes him off and we're back to square one. Fadzaev lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Fadzaev throws a big shot that misses. Day misses with a looping right. Fadzaev connects with a high kick. Fadzaev misses the jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fadzaev throws a jab but it's blocked by Day. Day moves out of range as Fadzaev strikes. Fadzaev scores with a jab to the body. A big left from Day misses. Fadzaev scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fadzaev staying out of range there. Day blocks a head kick by Fadzaev.
Day lands with a shot to the body. Day drops his hands momentarily and Fadzaev takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Day throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Day throws a looping overhand right but Fadzaev ducks down to avoid it. Day looks to throw the jab but Fadzaev is out of range. Fadzaev lunges at Day with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Day's hand. Day misses with a hook
and Fadzaev counters with a left and a right that stings Day.
Day is rocked! Fadzaev avoids the body shot from Day.
Oh Day is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Day thuds a left hand into Fadzaev's body. Day scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Day seems to have got his legs back now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fadzaev closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fadzaev lands in his opponent's guard. Fadzaev pushes down on Day's leg and manages to get into half guard.
