The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Golden dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on S�derlund. That did some damage!
S�derlund has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hey Steves Fight Shack in the buildup to the fight.
Golden misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Golden uses good head movement to avoid the hook from S�derlund.
S�derlund lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by S�derlund.
It looks like Trey Golden has been cut.
Golden throws a head kick that misses.
Golden throws a body shot but no joy.
Golden throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
S�derlund throws a big counter combination but Golden scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Golden throws a leg kick
and S�derlund counters with a nice body kick.
Golden keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from S�derlund.
Golden throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
S�derlund works Golden's body with a nice hook.
Trey Golden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
S�derlund scores with a head kick. Golden tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
S�derlund throws a leg kick but Golden moved away.
Golden connects with an inside leg kick.
Golden tried to score with a low kick but S�derlund checks it.
S�derlund staying out of range there.
A nice inside leg kick there by Golden. That's going to slow S�derlund down.
S�derlund scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
S�derlund drops Golden with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Golden looks back up at him and smiles so S�derlund waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Golden is rocked!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by S�derlund.
Golden is still on wobbly legs! Can S�derlund finish him?
Golden throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Golden uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by S�derlund.
S�derlund buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Golden seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
S�derlund throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
S�derlund takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Golden throws a front kick aimed at S�derlund's knee but S�derlund avoids it well.
Golden looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
S�derlund misses with a low kick as Golden jumps back.
A combination from Golden does no damage.
Golden lands with a kick to the temple. S�derlund shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
S�derlund thows a left - swing and a miss!
Golden uses good head movement to avoid the hook from S�derlund.
Golden throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Golden lands a nice looking body shot.
Golden avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
S�derlund misses the jab.
S�derlund connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Golden momentarily.
S�derlund lands a left and a right that send Golden crashing to the mat, dazed. S�derlund thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
S�derlund drops Golden with a naaaaasty hook - Golden is in real trouble here! S�derlund dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
