Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dany Wag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rene Simard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dany Wag has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Dany Wag! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rene Simard! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Simard tries for a takedown but Wag sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Simard looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Simard takes one on the button. Simard walks into a left hand. Wag shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Simard is trying to defend but Wag finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Simard pushes Wag off but Wag dives into side control.
Wag tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Wag content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Wag seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Simard for as long as he can get away with.
That's one minute gone in the round. Simard prevents Wag from moving into mount. Simard is being controlled here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Simard gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Wag controlling the pace for now. Simard working to try and regain half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Simard tries to improve his position but Wag has taken his back! Wag has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Simard tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Wag pushes Simard away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
