PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pit Mies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pereira Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mies comes to the cage accompanied by Condemned 84 - Face the agression. Pereira Diaz will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 33 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pit Mies!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pereira Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diaz shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Diaz controlling the action here.
Diaz wants to take a breather but Mies is having none of it.
Mies wants to get back to full guard.
Diaz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mies. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Diaz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Diaz lands in his opponent's guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Diaz connects with a nice short shot to Mies's temple.
