Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leandro Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Douche Pillowhands! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pillowhands to the mat! Pillowhands manages to get full guard. Jones decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Jones scores with a nice right hand.
Pillowhands slips a jab from Jones. Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pillowhands moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pillowhands drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Jones defends it well. Jones throws a lazy right hand but Pillowhands sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Jones shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pillowhands is trying to defend but Jones finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Jones decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. A decent looking cross lands there for Jones. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones misses with the ground and pound. Jones has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Jones misses the jab. Pillowhands with the counter takedown but Jones avoids it easily. Jones looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Pillowhands! Jones misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Jones creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Pillowhands sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Who's going to make the next move? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pillowhands tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pillowhands keeps working. Jones stands up. Pillowhands uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jones. Pillowhands is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Pillowhands gets tackled into the cage by Jones. Jones maintains the clinch. Jones is struggling to control the position. Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jones looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Pillowhands avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jones.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Jones is figuring out what he wants to do next. Jones thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pillowhands's head. Pillowhands is doing well to control the position and prevent Jones from advancing to side control. Jones looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Jones throwing shots but Pillowhands is blocking nicely. Jones missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Pillowhands trying to hold on to Jones's head to control him but Jones postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones drops an elbow to the side of Pillowhands's head. Jones working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Jones thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Jones is trying to control the action in half guard but Pillowhands is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Jones is looking to stall here but Pillowhands recovers full guard. Pillowhands avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Pillowhands keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Jones makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leandro Jones dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Jones closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Jones creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Pillowhands sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Jones stands up. Jones looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pillowhands looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Pillowhands is retaining full guard. Jones throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pillowhands works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones throws a big right hand that misses. Jones is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pillowhands can do to turn this around? Jones trying to control but Pillowhands is working from the bottom. Pillowhands is pulling down on Jones's head. It's preventing any offense from Jones, at least for the moment. Jones trying to control but Pillowhands is working from the bottom. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Pillowhands holds on and takes a little breather.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jones jabbing away but nothing is landing. Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pillowhands was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Jones swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into Pillowhands's guard. Jones wants to pass the guard but Pillowhands is keeping the position. Pillowhands managing to control the position. Jones throwing strikes but missing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jones stands up from Pillowhands's guard - Jones perhaps looking for a knockout. Jones looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jones is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pillowhands sees it coming and defends easily. Pillowhands wants to improve his position but Jones is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jones missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Jones thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pillowhands's head. Pillowhands is looking to control Jones's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pillowhands avoid being mounted? Jones stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Jones swinging wildly here.
And Pillowhands tries to counter it with a takedown but Jones pushes his down on his head and steps out. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pillowhands has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jones finds it's way round the side to connect with Pillowhands's head. Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pillowhands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leandro Jones dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Pillowhands is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jones in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Nice uppercut lands for Jones. That snapped Pillowhands's head back.
Leandro Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nice jab there from Jones. Jones gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pillowhands steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jones. Jones clobbers Pillowhands with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Jones throws a good cross that connects.
Leandro Jones is winning the standup battle so far. Jones throws a looping overhand right but Pillowhands ducks down to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice shot by Jones. Pillowhands gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Leandro Jones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jones stands up from Pillowhands's guard - Jones perhaps looking for a knockout. Jones misses with a head kick.
Pillowhands displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jones throws out the jab. Pillowhands tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Jones closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Pillowhands quickly recovers to half guard. Jones throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Pillowhands wants to control but Jones is keeping busy and won't allow it. Jones trying to control the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pillowhands is trying to get back to full guard. Pillowhands keeps control of the position for the meantime. Jones wants to free his trapped foot but Pillowhands is holding on for dear life with his legs.
And that's the end of the fight! Leandro Jones showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jones has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
