Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adlet Mayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philo Beddo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Beddo throws an elbow that misses. Mayer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Beddo's guard. Nice move by Mayer !

Beddo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Beddo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mayer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mayer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Beddo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mayer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Mayer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Beddo has his foot on Mayer 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mayer works his way back into a safe position though.

Beddo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mayer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Beddo postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Mayer wants to get back to his feet but Beddo drags him back down.
Beddo throws a strike aimed at the side of Mayer 's head but Mayer avoids it well.
Beddo is putting a hurting on Mayer here, landing some big shots from side control.
Beddo is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Mayer is trying to escape and Beddo transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Mayer is forced to tap! Nice work there by Beddo! Very nice indeed!
