Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Neo Oen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Solberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Solberg is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bad Moon Rising. Peter Solberg will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Neo Oen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Peter Solberg! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Solberg slaps away a takedown attempt from Oen, before circling back to the center of the mat. Oen tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. A clash of legs there as Solberg blocks the low kick. Oen looks to land a body kick but Solberg moved away. Oen goes for a double leg but Solberg avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Solberg continues to drive forward. Solberg tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Solberg lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oen throws the left hand but Solberg avoids the punch easily. Solberg's coach down at Spetznaz Training Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Solberg's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. A slow jab from Solberg misses its intended target. Oen feinted with a counter takedown. Oen dives in and grabs Solberg's left leg, looking for a takedown. Solberg pushes down on Oen's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Neo Oen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Oen pivots, looking for a leg kick but Solberg is out of range and Oen settles back down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Solberg connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Solberg swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Oen. Solberg attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Oen throws out a powerful jab. Oen throws a leg kick that is checked and Solberg counters with an inside leg kick. A slow jab from Oen misses its intended target. Solberg looks like he wants to counter punch here. Solberg connects with a right hand. Oen shakes it off. Oen motions for Solberg to come forward. Oen throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Solberg jabbing away but nothing is landing. Solberg pivots, looking for a leg kick but Oen is out of range and Solberg settles back down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oen throws a body shot but no joy. Solberg throws out a counter right but Oen avoids it with no problem. Oen throws a half hearted mid kick. Oen throws a low kick but it's checked well by Solberg. Solberg swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Solberg keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Solberg has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Oen. Solberg throws out a token jab with nothing on it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Oen throws a big shot that misses. Oen backing away here, and Solberg unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Solberg gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Oen waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Solberg. Oen seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Oen just misses with a punch to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. That kick from Solberg tenderised Oen's leg. Oen is trying to keep his angry face on. Solberg throws an overhand right that lands on Oen's shoulder, as Oen tries to avoid the shot. Oen misses with a left hand enabling Solberg to counter with a crisp jab. Oen misses with a body shot.
Oen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Solberg defends it nicely. A little jabbing left from Solberg on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Oen takes one on the chin but seems OK.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Solberg circles away. Solberg connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Oen misses with a straight left. Oen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Solberg can pounce on him.
Solberg dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Oen. That did some damage! Nice uppercut lands for Oen. That snapped Solberg's head back.
Oen thows a leg kick but Solberg checks it and Solberg counters with a stiff right hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Solberg moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Oen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Solberg waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Oen. Solberg has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Solberg avoids the body shot from Oen.
Solberg swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oen misses the shot to the body. Oen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Oen is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Solberg doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Oen. Solberg keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Solberg manages to get to full guard.
Solberg is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oen is looking to work some ground and pound but Solberg has wrist control. Oen trying to control the position from guard on top but Solberg is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Solberg is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Oen trying to control the position.
Solberg wants to control from the top but Oen keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Oen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Solberg is one step ahead there. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Oen is on top in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Solberg controls Oen momentarily but Oen frees himself. Oen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Solberg is keeping the position for now. Solberg wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Oen is now in half guard. Solberg preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Oen missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Solberg regains full guard. Nicely done. Oen looking to sit in guard and control but Solberg gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Oen tries to land a sweep but no joy. Oen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Solberg defends well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Solberg trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Neo Oen dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Oen misses with a takedown attempt - Solberg sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Solberg throws a right and a left that both miss. Solberg connects with a looping right hand.

Solberg takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Solberg paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Solberg. Solberg moves out of range of the strikes. Peter Solberg is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Solberg moves out of range of the strikes. Solberg swings widly with a right hand
and Oen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Oen. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Solberg has his foot on Oen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Oen works his way back into a safe position though. Solberg has momentary wrist control but Oen slips an elbow through the middle. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Solberg is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Oen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Oen trying to control the position from guard on top but Solberg is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Solberg utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Oen postures up.
Solberg manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Oen manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Oen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Oen preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Oen looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Solberg pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Oen is keeping the position for now. Oen is looking for a triangle but Solberg pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Solberg is stalling in the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Solberg throws a right hand that Oen ducks under and follows up with a left that Oen also avoids with ease.
And that's the end of the fight! Peter Solberg comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Solberg has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
