And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCarthy wants to clinch.
Darrow throws a jab but it's blocked by McCarthy.
McCarthy doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Darrow counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Darrow lands an overhand right.
Darrow lands with an uppercut that bounces McCarthy off the cage and back into range.
Darrow swats away the attempt to clinch by McCarthy.
McCarthy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Darrow as he avoids it easily.
David McCarthy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCarthy shoots and misses
and Darrow counters with a straight right hand.
Ramsay Darrow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David McCarthy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looked like Darrow was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from McCarthy.

Darrow feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to McCarthy's calf.
Darrow lands with a good body shot.
Darrow scores with a punch to the head.
Darrow with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Darrow blocks a head kick by McCarthy.
McCarthy tries to close the distance and clinch but Darrow swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ramsay Darrow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Darrow counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Darrow is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Darrow shuts the power down on McCarthy. Lights out, game over! Darrow is your winner.
