Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ollie Woodard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Ryder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryder is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by hard bass. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Ollie Woodard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Ryder! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Woodard shoots in but no luck this time. A right-left combo lands from Ryder.
It looks like Ollie Woodard has been cut. Ryder lands with a good body shot. Ryder closes the distance and clinches. Woodard's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Woodard has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ryder finds it's way round the side to connect with Woodard's head. Ryder pushes Woodard up against the cage in a clinch. Woodard misses with a knee to the head. Ryder manages to pull guard.
Ryder has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Woodard can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Woodard won't allow Ryder to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryder scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Ryder takes the fight into the clinch. Woodard breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jake Ryder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Woodard scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Ryder manages to escape and get back to his feet!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ryder shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ryder showed some decent athleticism there. Woodard is trying to control but can't.
Woodard is looking to escape. Woodard preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Ryder is keen to just control but Woodard is a slippery customer. Ryder wants to free his trapped foot but Woodard is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ryder seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Woodard does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Ryder is trying to work for a kimura but Woodard is defending well.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Woodard dives in for a single leg takedown but Ryder sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Ryder clinches. Woodard breaks the clinch.
Ryder drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Ryder in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Ryder trying to control the position from guard on top but Woodard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ryder stopping the sweep attempt from Woodard. Ryder wants to control from the top but Woodard keeps moving. Woodard looking for a sweep. Not yet Woodard, not yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Ryder dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ollie Woodard's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Ryder fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Woodard to the ground. Ryder is now in Woodard's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Woodard striking off his back but it's not causing Ryder any problems. Ryder is looking to stand up but Woodard won't let him. Woodard trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Ryder working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Woodard is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Woodard controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryder stops Woodard from standing up. Ryder trying to control the position from guard on top but Woodard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Woodard takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryder closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Woodard did well to prevent Ryder getting side control. Woodard manages to get to full guard.
Ryder postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Woodard wants to sweep here but Ryder controlling him for the moment. Ryder sitting in guard here, content to control. Ryder stands up from guard. Let's bang! Woodard dives in for a single leg takedown but Ryder sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryder scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Ryder wants to lay and pray for a moment but Woodard keeps working. Ryder has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ryder works his way into side control. Woodard wants to get back to his feet. Woodard holds on to Ryder's head and controls the position momentarily. Woodard struggling a bit here. Sloppy strikes there by Ryder.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Woodard is trying to control Ryder's posture but Ryder avoids it. Ryder trying to control the action but Woodard is working from the bottom. Woodard tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ryder wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Woodard is not content to let Ryder control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Ryder is trying to get an arm triangle but Woodard is defending well. Woodard prevents Ryder from moving into mount. Ryder working away. Ryder decides to take the fight back to the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ryder throws a head kick that misses. Ryder defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Woodard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Ryder showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Ollie Woodard's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Ryder stalks Woodard and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Woodard's face. Woodard staggers backwards, shaken. Ryder shoots in and bounces Woodard off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Woodard is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Woodard is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ryder is just riding it out for now. Woodard eventually gives up the hold. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Woodard decides to stand up.

and Woodard counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Ryder looking to score a takedown here. Woodard is defending well but Ryder drives through and ends up in Woodard's guard. Woodard controlling Ryder's posture. Woodard lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Woodard has gone for a leg lock! Ryder slips out almost immediately though and dives into Woodard's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryder with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Woodard is pulling down on Ryder's head to control his posture. Ryder sitting in guard here, content to control. Ryder is in close to Woodard's body, working some short punches and elbows. Ryder postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Woodard is controlling Ryder's posture. Ryder decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Woodard takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ryder decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Woodard pushes Ryder off looking to stand but Ryder dives back in and keeps control.
Ryder is trying to control. Woodard wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Jake Ryder is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Woodard wants to improve his position but Ryder is controlling well.
Ryder is working for a submission of some sort.

Ryder wants to pass to mount but Woodard is defending the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Woodard is looking to improve his position.
And that's the end of the fight! Jake Ryder comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ryder has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
