Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pavlo Boyko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maro Torbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Pavlo Boyko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Maro Torbar! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torbar throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Boyko counters with a shoot takedown. Torbar fights it but they end up in guard. Boyko decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Torbar throws a sloppy head kick and Boyko moves out of range easily. Torbar moves into range and connects with a jab. Torbar tries to clinch and Boyko counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Boyko. Boyko is in close to Torbar's body, working some short punches and elbows. Boyko could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Boyko keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Torbar's head. This has been an exciting period of action! Boyko is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Boyko throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Boyko is looking to work some ground and pound but Torbar has wrist control. Boyko trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boyko is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Boyko postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Boyko slips nicely into half guard. Boyko looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Boyko stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Torbar to get to his feet. Boyko throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Torbar was covering up waiting for the punch and Boyko finishes the takedown easily into guard. Boyko distracts Torbar with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boyko with a flurry of punches that miss. Boyko is looking to work some ground and pound but Torbar has wrist control. Boyko loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Boyko keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Torbar's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boyko trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Boyko decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Boyko misses with a head kick.
Torbar tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Boyko counters with a single leg into guard. Torbar didn't expect that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Boyko is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Boyko landing some decent shots from guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boyko not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Boyko slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Torbar takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Boyko prevents Torbar from escaping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Boyko working the ground and pound from side control. Torbar looks winded! Boyko in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. A lull in the action here as Boyko stalls from top position. Torbar takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Torbar being controlled for a moment. Boyko works to advance to full mount. Torbar defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pavlo Boyko dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Torbar gets caught flat footed, as Boyko shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Boyko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Torbar swivels though and keeps the full guard. Boyko trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Pavlo Boyko overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Boyko slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Boyko stands and throws Torbar's legs to the side, diving into side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boyko thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Boyko is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Torbar can do to turn this around? Boyko scores with a couple of short elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boyko has an Americana. Torbar didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Boyko is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Boyko hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Pavlo Boyko!
