Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Silva Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Gun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ain't no sandstrom - DaurudeMX ft . Gun has chosen Turbo as his entrance music. Silva Gracie had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Tommy Gun is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Silva Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tommy Gun!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, David Schapiro and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie tries for a takedown but Gun circles away easily
and Gun cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Silva Gracie has been cut.
Gun steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gracie.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gracie closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Gracie is rocked!
Gracie tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gun counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Silva Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gun stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gun wants it to stay on the feet.
It seemed like Gun was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Gracie has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Red House in the buildup to the fight.
Gracie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gun avoids it really well and circles away.
A nice side step and Gun releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Silva Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gun has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Tommy Gun is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gun scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gracie is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Gun doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Gracie crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Gracie's bad books for that mishap!
