Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Timmy Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ellis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Chad VanGaalen - Blonde Hash. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Timmy Ellis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Power! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jonathan Paton and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ellis keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Power. Power throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ellis connects with a single shot there. Power walks into a jab. Power on the wrong end of a nice jab. Ellis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Power. Ellis seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Ellis avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Ellis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Power moves away. Ellis misses with a few strikes there.
Power flicks out a counter leg kick but Ellis steps away. Power misses the jab. Ellis fails in his attempt to clinch. Power comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Ellis throws a looping overhand right but Power ducks down to avoid it. Power moves out of range of the strikes. Power looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Ellis missing with a left hand there. Power was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Ellis keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Power. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Power fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ellis manages to avoid it. Power connects with a body shot that sends Ellis's belly button to the back. Power misses with a straight left.

and Power connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ellis wants to clinch. Ellis ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Power takes a swing at Ellis's ribcage but misses. Ellis throws a hook but Power avoids it easily. Ellis misses with a body shot.
Power lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Ellis misses with an uppercut. Power saw that one coming. Ellis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Power. Ellis throws an overhand right that lands on Power's shoulder, as Power tries to avoid the shot. It seemed like Power was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Power lunges at Ellis with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ellis's hand. Ellis throws out a loose jab but Power uses good head movement to avoid it. Power lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Power looks to land a left hand but Ellis moved out of range nicely. Power pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ellis tries to close the distance and clinch up but Power swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ellis slips under a jab from Power. Ellis is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Power ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Power misses the jab. Ellis uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Power. Ellis uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Power. Power moves forwards but Ellis connects with a nice, crisp jab. Power throws a big shot that misses. Ellis appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Ellis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Power throws out the jab. A jab from Ellis finds it's way through Power's defenses. Ellis misses with a wild body shot. Power clobbers Ellis with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Ellis thuds his right hand into Power's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Power jabs at Ellis's body. Ellis slips under a jab from Power. Ellis takes a swing at Power's ribcage but misses. Ellis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Power walks into a jab. Ellis misses with a straight right. Ellis rushes Power and presses him up against the cage. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Ellis seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Ellis lands a knee to the body.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Ellis. Power tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A head punch on the inside from Power fails to land. Ellis stalling in the clinch but Power improves position. Ellis lands a knee to the head.
Power scores with a nice hook to the head. Power lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Ellis throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Power blocks it with crossed arms. A head punch on the inside from Power fails to land. A shot in the inside from Ellis.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stalling in the clinch from Ellis.
Power scores with a shot to the side of Ellis's head. Ellis lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Ellis is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Power is keeping busy. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Ellis keeps control of Power as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Ellis trying to land knees to the body.
Power lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Power lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ellis backwards. Power tries to work over Ellis's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Ellis misses with a short punch on the inside. Power lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Ellis. Power has a couple of punches blocked by Ellis.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Ellis tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Power gets through Ellis's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Ellis lands with a right to the head. Ellis has Power pushed against the cage. Ellis taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Thomas Power will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ellis connects with a crisp jab. Ellis lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ellis. Ellis looks to throw the jab but Power is out of range. Ellis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Power paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ellis misses with a hook. Power misses with a straight left. Ellis is rocked! Power throws a shot from downtown. Ellis moves away and avoids it. Power shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Ellis throws a predictable looking body shot

Ellis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Power was well out of range. Poor timing from Ellis. Ellis throws a sloppy body shot
and Power counters with a straight right hand. Power dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Power lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Oh Ellis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A slow jab from Power misses its intended target. Ellis takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Ellis pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Ellis seems to have got his legs back now. Power misses the jab. Power throws the left hand but Ellis avoids the punch easily. Ellis slips a jab from Power. Ellis scores with a jab. Power acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Ellis has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Ellis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Power.

Ellis gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Power scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Thomas Power showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Power thows a left - swing and a miss! A slow jab from Ellis misses its intended target. Ellis is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Power moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thomas Power! Thomas Power seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
