Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Sarsgaard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Parp Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sarsgaard comes to the cage accompanied by Spit it out - Slipknot. Mike Sarsgaard has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mike Sarsgaard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Daniel Parp Cannon!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parp Cannon throws and low kick but Sarsgaard moves out of range easily.
Sarsgaard circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sarsgaard tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Parp Cannon counters by clinching up.
Parp Cannon can't break the clinch.
Parp Cannon lands a knee to the body.
Parp Cannon should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Sarsgaard's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sarsgaard throws a head kick but Parp Cannon moves out of range.

Sarsgaard clinches up with Parp Cannon and pushes him back against the cage.
Sarsgaard misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Parp Cannon.
Parp Cannon lands a knee to the body.
Parp Cannon has had enough of the clinch but Sarsgaard keeps him there for the moment.
Parp Cannon wants to break the clinch but can't.
Sarsgaard prevents Parp Cannon from breaking the clinch.
Parp Cannon tries to break the clinch but Sarsgaard is controlling the position.

Parp Cannon has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Sarsgaard is trying to keep an underhook but Parp Cannon manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Parp Cannon takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Parp Cannon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sarsgaard keeps working.
Sarsgaard pushes Parp Cannon off looking to stand but Parp Cannon dives back in and keeps control.

Parp Cannon is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Parp Cannon moves nicely into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sarsgaard wants to get back to his feet.
Parp Cannon trying to control the action but Sarsgaard is working from the bottom.
Parp Cannon might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sarsgaard kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Parp Cannon throws a strike aimed at the side of Sarsgaard's head but Sarsgaard avoids it well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Parp Cannon tries for a kimura but Sarsgaard is defending well.
Sarsgaard taking punishment in the form of punches.
Parp Cannon trying to control the action but Sarsgaard is working from the bottom.
Sarsgaard is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Parp Cannon has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Parp Cannon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Sarsgaard on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sarsgaard tries to get out of the position.
Parp Cannon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sarsgaard keeps working.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sarsgaard is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Parp Cannon has just dragged him back down to the mat.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Parp Cannon tries to clinch but Sarsgaard moves out of range.

Sarsgaard looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Parp Cannon!
Sarsgaard is breathing heavily.
Parp Cannon tries to hold on but Sarsgaard pushes him away.
Parp Cannon bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Parp Cannon won't allow Sarsgaard to get back to his feet.
Sarsgaard trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Parp Cannon pushes down on Sarsgaard's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Parp Cannon frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Sarsgaard has given up his back.
Parp Cannon controls the action.
Sarsgaard is keeping busy.

Parp Cannon is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Sarsgaard has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Parp Cannon has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Sarsgaard taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Parp Cannon doesn't care though - he's delighted!
