Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasilli Drakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasilli Drakov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Belfort! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vasilli Drakov! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Bruno Lombardi and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drakov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Belfort as he jumps to the side. Belfort throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Drakov was covering up waiting for the punch and Belfort finishes the takedown easily into guard. Belfort drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Drakov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Belfort has Drakov in his guard. Belfort trying to keep a closed guard but Drakov is proving a slippery customer.
Belfort is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Midnight MMA that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Drakov with a flurry of punches that miss. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Belfort looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Belfort keeping moving, preventing Drakov from controlling successfully. Belfort doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drakov scoring with some ground and pound. Belfort is striking but Drakov is not phased and passes to half guard. Belfort works his way to full guard. Good work. Belfort looking to control.
Drakov trying to control but Belfort is working from the bottom. Belfort trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Drakov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Belfort looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Drakov tries to free his leg and advance position but Belfort is retaining full guard. Drakov is working Belfort over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Belfort keeping moving, preventing Drakov from controlling successfully. Drakov advances position into side control! Drakov scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Belfort to see if he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Belfort manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Belfort thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Drakov manages to get to full guard.
Drakov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Drakov is looking for a triangle but Belfort pushes his legs off easily.
Belfort's corner is telling him to maintain position. Belfort trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Belfort throwing strikes but missing. Belfort got a little sloppy there for a moment and Drakov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Belfort has managed to get both his arms back between Drakov's legs - danger averted. Belfort cracks Drakov with a solid left hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belfort passes Drakov's left leg - he's now in half guard. Belfort is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Drakov is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Belfort's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Belfort's back! Belfort rolls, trying to escape but Drakov keeps control of the position.
My spies in School of Hard Knocks inform me that Drakov has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Drakov landing with strikes. Drakov looking for the RNC. I really don't envy Belfort right now.
Drakov has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Drakov controlling well, preventing Belfort from escaping the position.

Belfort just trying to survive but Drakov is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Belfort tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Drakov with the ground and pound from mount. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Belfort regains half guard. Belfort actively working from the bottom here. Belfort is staying active underneath Drakov, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Belfort tries to roll over but Drakov keeps him under control. Drakov works his foot free and advances to mount. Belfort throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Drakov unloading with bombs! Drakov unloading with bombs!
Belfort is rocked! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vasilli Drakov dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Drakov shoots in and drives through. Belfort sprawls well. Oh Belfort is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Belfort shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Drakov pinned against the cage. Drakov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Drakov is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Belfort is in big trouble! Drakov is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Belfort. Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Vasilli Drakov! Jumping up and down and very excited, Vasilli Drakov waved his t-shirt featuring Fatty's 's logo in front of the cameras.
