Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michio Kaku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wymond Ivy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaku comes to the cage accompanied by We will rock you. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michio Kaku! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wymond Ivy! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaku shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ivy defends it nicely. Ivy gets the takedown into side control. Ivy trying to control the position but Kaku is working away. You can see the frustration on Kaku's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Ivy wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kaku, who protects the arm well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kaku being controlled for a moment.

He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Ivy tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ivy keeping full guard, as Kaku tries to pass. Ivy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kaku defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaku trying to control but Ivy is working from the bottom. We've been hearing that Kaku has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Ivy is adopting a defensive guard. Kaku advances position into side control! Kaku scores with a couple of short elbows. Ivy tries to bench press Kaku off him but Kaku keeps the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ivy is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Kaku not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Ivy tries to roll over but Kaku keeps him under control. Kaku is looking to take a break and control but Ivy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kaku scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Ivy is refusing to be controlled, as Kaku sits in half guard. Ivy is looking to control Kaku's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ivy avoid being mounted? Ivy moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Kaku lands a couple of elbows.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kaku trying to control the position from guard on top but Ivy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ivy is trying to control the position but Kaku postures up. Ivy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kaku is aware though and is defending well. Kaku looking to pass the guard. Ivy throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kaku escapes and throws Ivy's legs to the side, diving into side control! Kaku looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ivy is positioning himself to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Wymond Ivy will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ivy looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kaku! Kaku is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Ivy is looking to take a break and control but Kaku is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kaku prevents Ivy from moving into mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ivy goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kaku has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ivy but great work by Kaku. Kaku tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaku working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Ivy is trying to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kaku trying to control the position but Ivy is working away. Ivy manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kaku's best efforts. Ivy trying to control but Kaku postures up.
Ivy might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kaku haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ivy avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kaku. Ivy gets back to full guard.
Kaku connects with a couple of short punches. Kaku has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaku trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ivy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kaku defends well. Ivy keeping full guard, as Kaku tries to pass. Ivy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kaku can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ivy working a defensive guard but Kaku passes into half guard.
Ivy is not content to let Kaku control the position. Kaku is really struggling to control Ivy but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaku wants to work for an arm triangle but Ivy is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Ivy looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kaku lands a nice short elbow. Kaku stalling away here and it's allowed Ivy to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Ivy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Ivy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kaku gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kaku trying to control but Ivy is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kaku is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ivy is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Ivy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kaku is one step ahead there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kaku advances to half guard. Kaku is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Wymond Ivy will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Ivy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Kaku slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Kaku wants to reverse the position here. Ivy has hold of a leg though and he's dropped back looking for a kneebar! The fighters roll across the mat but Kaku is forced to tap! Kaku looks devastated but at least his leg points in the right direction.
