Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian Roper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Giggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Giggs has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Giggs looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Roper works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Roper scores with a body shot.
Giggs ducks right into an uppercut from Roper.
Giggs darts in and clinches Roper up against the cage.
Roper's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Roper makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Roper fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Giggs needs to keep his hands up - Roper had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Ryan Giggs has been cut.

and Roper counters with a huge left! Giggs is in big trouble! He's backing up but Roper isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Giggs from any more damage. A dominating finish by Roper!
