Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khom Maruban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luther York (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). York comes into a darkened arena with his song building. "Hated" by Beartooth kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Khom Maruban could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Luther York's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maruban shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Maruban was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
York looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Maruban stands up and beckons York to his feet.

Maruban dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on York. That did some damage!

York looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Maruban tries to score a power double leg takedown but York sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Maruban somewhat.
York should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
York drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Maruban tries to control but York manages to take his back.
