The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avila lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jetson circles away quickly and effectively.
Good exchange - Jetson coming out on top.
Avila shoots for a double leg takedown but Jetson sprawls well. He's pushed Avila's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Jetson lands a nice shot to the body.
Avila closes the distance and clinches up with Jetson, looking for a takedown. Avila pushes Jetson against the cage but Jetson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jetson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jetson connects with a right hand. Avila shakes it off.
The crowd cheers as Jetson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Avila doesn't seem phased though.

Jetson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Avila under the eye.

Avila is rocked!
Jetson cracks Avila with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Avila tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Jetson pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Avila is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
