Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ernest Ashman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfie Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A leg kick checked by Ashman.
A jab from Ashman misses.
Ashman cracks Jackson with an open hand slap.
Ashman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jackson.
Jackson with the counter takedown but Ashman avoids it easily.
Ashman misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The fighters circle momentarily. Ashman darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ashman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jackson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ashman lands a head shot.
Ashman fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Ashman throws a body punch but Jackson moves out of range.
Jackson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ashman.
Ashman cracks Jackson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ashman lands a right hook to the body.
Jackson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ashman.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jackson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Jackson is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Ashman engages and cracks Jackson with a massive lead left hook - Jackson tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Ashman is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
