Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Cisco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Uzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Matthew Cisco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jay Uzo!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cisco needs to keep his hands up - Uzo had a free shot at his head there.
Uzo jabs Cisco right on the nose. Cisco blinks but takes it well.
Cisco shoots for a takedown but Uzo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Cisco has closed the distance and engaged Uzo in a clinch.
Uzo lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Cisco is looking to take this one to the mat.

Cisco breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Uzo scores with a decent looking hook.
Cisco throws a sloppy head kick and Uzo moves out of range easily.
Uzo darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Uzo ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Cisco walks into a straight right hand from Uzo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cisco is trying hard to land a takedown here. Uzo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Cisco changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Uzo tries to avoid it but Cisco manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Uzo to the ground. Uzo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Uzo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Uzo fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cisco on the side of the head.
Cisco darts in looking for a takedown but Uzo gets double underhooks and turns Cisco into the cage.
Cisco throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Uzo's waist but Uzo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cisco off to one side.
Uzo lands a body shot.
Uzo lands with an overhand left.
Uzo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cisco looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Uzo scores with a sloppy right hand. Cisco should have avoided that one.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Uzo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Uzo cracks Cisco with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Uzo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Cisco tries to close the distance and clinch up but Uzo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Uzo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Cisco takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Cisco drops his hands momentarily and Uzo takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Cisco shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Uzo sprawls well. Uzo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cisco gets slowly back to his feet.
Uzo looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Uzo throws out a leg kick but Cisco moves out of range and Uzo only half commits.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Uzo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jay Uzo dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Cisco looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Uzo is fending him off so far but Cisco persists. Nope, Uzo circles away and we're back to standing.

Nice uppercut lands for Uzo. That snapped Cisco's head back.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Cisco. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Cisco's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Uzo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cisco scrambles back to his feet.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Uzo takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Uzo lands with a right to the head.
Cisco has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Uzo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Cisco tries to score a body lock takedown but Uzo shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Cisco tries to stall but Uzo uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Still in the clinch, Uzo scores with a nice short uppercut.

Uzo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Uzo lands a body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Uzo, as that shot connected.

The fighters circle momentarily. Uzo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.


Cisco is rocked!
Cisco moves forwards but Uzo connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Oh Cisco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cisco takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Uzo wants to clinch up but Cisco keeps it at a distance.
Uzo tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Cisco is able to avoid easily.
Cisco gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Cisco walks into a jab.
Uzo walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Cisco drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Uzo swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Cisco's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jay Uzo!
A less than humble Jay Uzo misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
