Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between De Bruyne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arlington Beech (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruyne comes into the arena with Busta Rhymes - Other Side Of The Road blaring out of the sound system. Beech comes into a darkened arena with his song building. You Know My Name kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Arlington Beech has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with De Bruyne's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 7 - 3, fighting out of New York, De Bruyne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
27 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Arlington Beech! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bruyne darts in looking for a takedown but Beech gets double underhooks and turns Bruyne into the cage. Beech motions for Bruyne to come forward. Beech throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. We've been informed that Beech has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Beech swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bruyne looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Bruyne throws a lazy head kick and Beech counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. A looping hook to the body misses from Beech. Bruyne does a little dance to reset his feet. Beech fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bruyne manages to avoid it. Sloppy strikes from Bruyne. Those never looked like landing. A shot to the liver by Beech. Beautiful body shot. A slow jab from Bruyne misses its intended target. Beech keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Beech thuds a left hand into Bruyne's body. Bruyne lands with a hook. Beech tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Beech takes a jab right on the kisser.
Bruyne bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Beech's head. Bruyne tries to keep at a distance but Beech has taken the fight into the clinch.

Bruyne has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bruyne throwing strikes but missing. Bruyne scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bruyne trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Beech looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Bruyne uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Beech.
Beech looks to land a right hand but Bruyne moved out of range. Nice shot by Beech. Bruyne jabbing away but nothing is landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that De Bruyne will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Beech tries to land a front kick but Bruyne steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. The fighters circling - Bruyne throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A shot to the body from Bruyne misses and Beech counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Good exchange - Bruyne coming out on top. Bruyne checks a low kick from Beech. Bruyne drops down looking for a counter takedown but Beech sprawls and moves away. Arlington Beech seems to be getting the better of the standup. Bruyne takes one on the button. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Some bone on bone action there as Beech checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Beech throws a leg kick and Bruyne counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Bruyne misses with a hook. Beech scores with a shot to the body.

Bruyne rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Beech moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bruyne fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Beech fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bruyne. Bruyne fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for De Bruyne. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A low kick from Bruyne is predictable there and Beech counters with a leg kick. Bruyne looks to land a left hand but Beech moved out of range nicely. Bruyne fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Bruyne throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Beech counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Beech wants to slow Bruyne down by chopping away at his legs. An inside leg kick lands from Bruyne. Beech moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Beech blocks a head kick by Bruyne.

He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Beech has his hands clasped together around Bruyne's back. He's all about the action.

Beech is looking to control Bruyne's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Beech avoid being mounted? Bruyne missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Bruyne with the ground and pound but Beech uses the opportunity to regain guard. Beech not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Beech keeping full guard, as Bruyne tries to pass. Bruyne keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Beech's head. Beech utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bruyne tries to free his leg and advance position but Beech is retaining full guard. Bruyne throwing strikes but missing. Beech keeping moving, preventing Bruyne from controlling successfully.

A swing and a miss from Beech. Bruyne throws a big counter combination but Beech scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Beech throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Bruyne closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A short right from Beech on the inside. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A quick uppercut on the inside from Beech. Beech lands a shot to the body. Bruyne successfully pulls guard.
Beech advances position into side control! Beech working away. Bruyne is looking to regain half guard here but Beech keeps moving and retains side control.
