Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Butcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by Therion - Sitra Ahra. Butcher has chosen Won't Back Down as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Billy Butcher has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Smith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Butcher! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butcher tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Butcher wants to land a leg kick but Smith is out of range. Smith is looking to counter punch. Smith lands with a nice body punch. Butcher bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Butcher has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Smith lands with a slapping head kick. Butcher slips a jab and a cross from Smith.
Smith misses with a right hand and Butcher counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Smith ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Butcher avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Butcher takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A slow jab from Butcher misses its intended target. Smith has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Roosters Coop in the buildup to the fight. Butcher blocks a head kick by Smith.
Butcher misses with a straight left.
That's one minute gone in the round. Butcher moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Butcher throws the left hand but Smith avoids the punch easily. Butcher lands a lovely overhand right. Smith looks to land a combination but Butcher avoids it well. Smith walks into a stiff left hand from Butcher. Smith throws a body punch but Butcher moves out of range. Butcher tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Butcher does a little dance to reset his feet. Butcher misses with an uppercut. Smith saw that one coming. Smith tries to clinch up. Smith shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Butcher eats them both and turns towards Smith to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Butcher throws out a leg kick but Smith moves out of range and Butcher only half commits. Smith looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Smith moves into range and connects with a jab. The fighters circle, before Butcher throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Smith's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Butcher lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
