Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Blackfish Badass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Khomsai Bangarok!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bangarok closes the distance and pushes Badass back into the cage.
Bangarok lands with a right to the head.
Badass tries to pull guard but Bangarok holds him up against the cage and eventually Badass drops back down to his feet.
Bangarok lands a shoulder strike.
A short left from Bangarok.
Badass tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bangarok just stands there and leans against the cage.
Bangarok manages to break the clinch.
Badass throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A shot to the body from Badass misses
and Bangarok counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Badass throws a right hand that Bangarok ducks under and follows up with a left that Bangarok also avoids with ease.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Badass lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bangarok circles away quickly and effectively.
Bangarok moves into the clinch.
Bangarok breaks the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Badass takes a swing at Bangarok's ribcage but misses.
Despite the aggression on Bangarok's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Blackfish Badass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bangarok darts in and clinches Badass up against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Bangarok scores with a nice short uppercut.
Badass is rocked!
Bangarok working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Oh Badass is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bangarok tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Badass jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bangarok walks away with a smile on his face. Badass gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blackfish Badass. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bangarok gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Bangarok unleashes a big counter combination but Badass bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Bangarok escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bangarok forces Badass back against the cage and clinches.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Bangarok.
Bangarok pushes Badass against the cage. Bangarok is working some dirty boxing. Bangarok pushes off with a quick right hook! Badass goes down! Badass tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Bangarok moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Khomsai Bangarok!
