Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Morris Pittman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Okima Hatashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Pittman enables Hatashi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pittman manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Hatashi is pushing down on Pittman's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pittman is fighting to maintain full guard but Hatashi has managed to sneak the leg through.
Hatashi seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Still in half guard, Hatashi seems content to control.
Hatashi stops Pittman from getting back to his feet.
Pittman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hatashi on the ground.
Hatashi wants to pass the guard but Pittman is defending well.
Hatashi slows the pace down in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Let's hope that Hatashi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Hatashi.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pittman has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Hatashi escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Hatashi!

Pittman tries to get back to half guard but can't.
You can see the frustration on Pittman's face as Hatashi controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hatashi has an Americana. Pittman didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Hatashi is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Hatashi hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
