Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Shelby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Franco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tommy Shelby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Pedro Franco!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franco with a lazy takedown attempt
enabling Shelby to counter with a crisp jab.
Shelby lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Franco circles away quickly and effectively.
Tommy Shelby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shelby misses with a jab, cross combination.
Franco closes the distance and clinches up with Shelby, looking for a takedown. Franco pushes Shelby against the cage but Shelby circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Franco shoots in and drives through. Shelby sprawls well.
Tommy Shelby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pedro Franco.
Nice straight punches there by Shelby. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Shelby.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Franco is defended easily by Shelby.
A jab lands there for Shelby.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Franco shoots in for a takedown but Shelby shows good takedown defense.
Shelby throws a nice looking combination but Franco bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Franco shoots in and drives through. Shelby sprawls well.
Franco tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Shelby defends well and Franco ends up having to push Shelby into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Franco tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shelby sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Franco somewhat.
Shelby is looking for a counter combo.
Franco is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Franco looks winded!
Franco takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Franco closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shelby circles away.
Franco throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Shelby's waist but Shelby gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Franco off to one side.
Shelby throwing a counter right hand but Franco manages to avoid it.
Shelby bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Franco's head.
Franco fails with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Franco takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Shelby lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shelby gets in close and tags Franco with a short punch that almost sends Franco to the mat! Oh Franco is in big trouble! He turns his back on Shelby, trying to create some distance but Shelby rushes him, striking wildly and Franco goes down! The referee tackles Shelby into the cage to end the fight! Shelby is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tommy Shelby!
