Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clay Skinner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Baby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Big Baby will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Clay Skinner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Big Baby! The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Topper Green and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baby throws a head kick that misses. Baby throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Skinner shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Skinner was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Baby is trying to get back to his feet. Skinner in side control lands a decent elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Skinner lands a few punches from side control. The referee asks Skinner politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Skinner prefers to stall for the moment though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skinner throws an elbow but Baby slips to the side and avoids it well. Skinner tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Skinner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Skinner controlling the position from side mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Skinner decides to stand up, so the ref orders Baby to his feet. Baby misses the shot to the body. Baby stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Baby wants it to stay on the feet. A combination from Baby does no damage. Big Baby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A nice combination there by Baby.
It looks like Clay Skinner has been cut. Baby connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Skinner momentarily.
Baby lands a jab to Skinner's midsection. Big Baby is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skinner closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Baby quickly recovers to half guard. Skinner takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Skinner seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Baby for as long as he can get away with. Baby has hold of Skinner's hands but Skinner slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Skinner missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Skinner stops Baby from getting back to his feet.
Skinner scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Skinner could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Skinner is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Skinner throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skinner keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Skinner looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Baby with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Skinner thows a huge punch but Baby dodges it nicely.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Skinner stands up and beckons Baby to join him on the feet. Baby looks winded! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Baby gets tackled into the cage by Skinner. Skinner maintains the clinch. Baby's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Clay Skinner will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Clay Skinner's cut. That's time! Back to the action!

As Baby tries to get set, Skinner tries to push him back and clinch up but Baby manages to avoid the attempt. Baby fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Baby misses with a head kick.
Skinner shoots and misses and Baby counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Skinner is lucky that one didn't land flush. Skinner shoots in but Baby avoids the takedown attempt easily. Baby throws a big counter head kick but Skinner avoids it with no problem. Baby jabs Skinner to the body, keeping him at a distance. Skinner looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Baby gets a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baby struggles to land a body shot inside as Skinner controls his hands.

Skinner jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Baby walks away with a smile on his face. Skinner gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clay Skinner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Baby rushes Skinner and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Skinner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Skinner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Baby as he avoids it easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Crunch! Baby slams his shin into Skinner's torso. Baby scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Whack! Baby lands a heavy head kick that drops Skinner. The ref tackles Baby to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Skinner was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Big Baby!
