Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jonah Monteiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adel Sadeq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monteiro lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sadeq circles away quickly and effectively.
Monteiro misses with a two punch combination.
Monteiro falls off balance throwing a combination

and Sadeq decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Monteiro's guard.
Monteiro is looking to stand back up but Sadeq counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Monteiro.

Sadeq stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sadeq is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Sadeq passes into side control, despite Monteiro's attempt to control the position.
Monteiro is trying to control Sadeq's posture but Sadeq avoids it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Sadeq has an Americana. Monteiro didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Sadeq is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Sadeq hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
