Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bouyer shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Knorr is trying to defend but Bouyer finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Well, if Bouyer is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Knorr has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Let's hope that Bouyer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Knorr is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bouyer pulls his head out easily.
Bouyer is taking a breather. Knorr says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Knorr defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Bouyer's arms.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Knorr shoots for a takedown but Bouyer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bouyer drives through with a takedown into Knorr's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Knorr has his foot on Bouyer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bouyer works his way back into a safe position though.
Bouyer is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Knorr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bouyer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bouyer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Knorr looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bouyer has picked Knorr up and slammed him! Knorr can't keep hold of the triangle and Bouyer manages to pass to side control!
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bouyer working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Knorr tries to control Bouyer's body but Bouyer pushes him off. Knorr squirms to his side and now Bouyer has his back!
Bouyer has the hooks in. Knorr is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Bouyer just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Bouyer.
Bouyer has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Knorr is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Bouyer gets his way!

Knorr manages to reverse the position and now he's in Bouyer's guard. Nice work there by Knorr.

Knorr is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bouyer is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Boyce Bouyer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Bouyer is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Knorr's half guard.
Knorr is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
