Grishin comes to the cage accompanied by Danger. Aldridge comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Smooth Criminal By Michael Jackson kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kevaughn Aldridge has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Viktor Grishin's chin.

3 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevaughn Aldridge! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aldridge lands with a kick to the temple. Grishin shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Grishin tries to keep at a distance but Aldridge has taken the fight into the clinch. Aldridge tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

A short right from Grishin. Aldridge is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Grishin is defending well for now. Grishin is trying to break free. Grishin stalls. Grishin being controlled against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee calls for Aldridge to work.

That's one minute gone in the round. Aldridge pressing his opponent against the cage. Aldridge throws an elbow but it misses.
Grishin slows down the pace here.
Aldridge throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Aldridge looking to throw knees to the head but Grishin is blocking nicely.
Aldridge lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Aldridge tries to land knees in the clinch but Grishin avoids the damage to the body. Grishin stalling in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aldridge using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Grishin has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Aldridge tries a knee to the head but Grishin blocks it.
Grishin breaks the clinch.
Aldridge catches Grishin with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Aldridge throws a head kick that misses. Grishin misses with a straight left. Aldridge misses with an attempted mid kick.
Grishin moves out of range of the body kick from Aldridge.
Grishin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Aldridge counters with a right hand to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grishin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Aldridge looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Grishin throws a leg kick but Aldridge checks it. Kevaughn Aldridge is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Aldridge tries a head kick but it misses.
Grishin misses with a double jab.
Grishin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Aldridge pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Aldridge swings and misses with a hook to the body.
It appears Grishin was looking to counter with a kick there. Aldridge tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Grishin appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. A head kick from Aldridge lands but Grishin takes it in his stride. Aldridge lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Grishin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Grishin goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Aldridge scores with a three punch combo!
Grishin is rocked! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Grishin crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Aldridge - the referee stops the clock and Grishin gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Aldridge. Grishin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Oh Grishin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Grishin is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Aldridge Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Grishin is out cold, face down on the mat!
